How do I post an event?

You have to be a member to post an event on the LinkEducation site (see above for how to become a member). Once you have created a membership and are signed in, you can go to the “Event” tab on our homepage. There is an orange button that says “Create Event”. Click on that button and it will take you to a page where you can enter all of the event details.

How do I change an event?

There is currently no way for users to edit their events. If you made a mistake (typo, wrong date or time) feel free to reach out to us info@linkeducation.org and say what you would like to change and we can make the change for you. We will send you a confirmation email to let you know we made the change. Thanks for your patience!

What is the difference between a resource and organization?

A resource is a link to a useful website (such as lesson plans, or scholarship information), there is only a brief description and the service is not restricted to a specific location. These are all online tools that can help you no matter if you are in Alabama or in the Bronx.

How do I post a resource?

Do you know of a helpful education website or resource? Write us an email with a link to your resource and a quick description of it so we can post it on the site to share with others! Currently users cannot post their own resources, but we would like to include as many resources as possible, so shoot us an email.

Can’t find resources in your area?

Did you go to the map and can’t find any resource in your zip code?

You might want to broaden your search and not include your zip code. There are a number of organizations that list their address as their headquarters (which is often in Manhattan) but many of them work in numerous schools and communities in all of the 5 Boroughs. We're working to fix this, but in the meantime, search for the type of organization that you are interested in, and then check out their website to see where they operate, or give them a call or write them an email using the contact info that they provided on our site. Or write us an email and we can help with your search: info@linkeducation.org
