Come learn about how to teach high school students to make informed decisions when it comes to earning an income, saving and spending, using credit, and budgeting. This workshop is based on lessons in the Bringing Home the Gold publication and will provide you with background information, preparation materials, student activities, and assessments to promote active learning. All lessons are tied to standards for personal finance and economic literacy. Featured topics include: evaluating career choices, making responsible spending decisions, using credit wisely, and the cost of spending vs. saving.
